EXCELLENT!! Love this place. We go often. HUGE portions!! Always have leftovers and shareable. Can feed the big hungry man and the ladies will have leftovers. Good for groups or date night, family etc. Vegan/vegetarian options available. Everything is too notch. Nice ambiance. Love the “fireplace/wine” wall. Full bar. Upscale, but can go casual.
Peruvian food is the best food in the world! The menu was vast and if you aren’t familiar you can get recommendations. All reasonably priced!! I can assure you anything you order will be good!
Wow. Just wow! We ordered a dinner for two that fed 4 people and still has two boxes of leftovers. All for less than 120! Not only that, but it had 6 different meats on the platter that were great cuts cooked to perfection. The sides were perfectly cooked. The service was phenomenal. The decor was really cool with beautiful with authentic art matching the ambiance and culture related to the food. It's just a stellar experience. I rarely eat steak dinners outside of my home as they disappoint compared to those we cook ourselves. But these were wonderfully done with great sauces to add even though they were good without them. My friend had me try a bite of fried plantain with a piece of sausage and they complemented so well it was an explosion of flavors that set it all over the top! The service was impeccable and the server knew every cut and explained them. Just a great place! Highly recommend.
Great place in Estero, Argentinian and Peruvian mixed menu , they do an excellent job with the food . Seafood is fresh , Tiradito as an appetizer is great!
First time dinning tonight after hearing great things about this little gem. Wow, what a great experience. The service was fabulous, the food was fast, fresh and flavorful. We asked lots of questions about the large menu and our host was happy to help explain the dishes. We tried the Pisco Sour tradition lemon. It was also very good. We will be returning to try more dishes and add this restaurant as a go to for us.
We had my mother's 80th birthday at el gaucho. Sylvia , the owner helped us plan the menu and prepared all the tables beautifully. We couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. Julie, the waitress was simply spectacular. Thank you Sylvia and El Gaucho for making my mom's birthday special and memorable!!!!!
This is our third time here and we have never been disappointed, It seems like the next visit is better than the last. Luis took care of us today...what an amazing service! His suggestions were delicious from the appetizer to the dessert. We will request him on our next visit. The place was clean, the food was delicious and the service was outstanding.
